UNEXMIN Georobotics Ltd. participated in Meet a Robot Day – RobotRandi 2026, the family day organized by the Faculty of Informatics of Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) as the closing event of the Intelligent Robotics FAIR 2026. Held on 20 June 2026 at the ELTE Lágymányos Campus, the event brought together researchers, companies, families, and technology enthusiasts to explore the latest developments in robotics, artificial intelligence, and autonomous systems through interactive demonstrations and presentations.
At the UNEXMIN Georobotics exhibition stand, visitors had the opportunity to discover our underwater robotic technologies and learn how autonomous robotic systems support the exploration and mapping of flooded mines, lakes, and other underwater environments. Throughout the day, children, students, and adults visited our stand to see our robotic platform up close and discuss the challenges and opportunities of underwater exploration with our team.
As part of the conference programme, Máté Koba, researcher at UNEXMIN Georobotics, delivered a presentation entitled “Robotics on Land and Underwater”, highlighting the diverse applications of robotic technologies in scientific research and industrial operations, both above and below the water surface.
We were delighted to be part of this inspiring event and to contribute to bringing robotics and underwater technologies closer to the public. Events like Meet a Robot Day play an important role in encouraging young people to explore STEM fields and inspiring the next generation of engineers, scientists, and innovators.
We would like to thank the Faculty of Informatics of ELTE for the invitation and for organizing such a successful event.
