The Dubrovnik International School of Mining has launched the DIM ESEE-2 project, which will run from January 2021 to December 2024. The project is supported by a consortium of 14 members from over 10 mining universities in Europe.
UNEXMIN Georobotics’s team also participated in the project’s first technical event in October 2021, where they presented underwater mapping technologies, with a special focus on UX series robots and various 3D modelling techniques.
The ESEE region’s extractive sector has a low level of innovation, partly due to the lack of professional courses. DIM ESEE-2 aims to address this issue by conducting annual innovation workshops to increase the innovation capacity of raw materials professionals in the ESEE region.
