Our team at Käfersteige mine in Pforzheim, Germany, has achieved significant results with the UX1-Neo robot survey! During a total of 22 hours of diving, the robot travelled approximately 8.5 km, creating a 3D model of the mine and taking precise water parameter measurements (pH, EC, temperature, oxygen fugacity), confirming that the quality of the mine water is perfect, in line with previous DFG results. In addition, Flux Gate Magnetometer (FGM) measurements were used to record magnetic anomalies in the mine around the robot.
