On 17 April 2026, UNEXMIN Georobotics Ltd. participated in the Earth and Materials Science Adventure Tour at the University of Miskolc, an event organized to celebrate Earth Day and introduce primary school students to the world of science.
During the event, teams of students from Grades 5–8 completed a series of interactive, station-based challenges designed to explore topics related to Earth sciences and materials science. In addition to the practical activities, participants also tested their knowledge in a science-themed quiz.
At the UNEXMIN Georobotics stand, students had the opportunity to discover our underwater robotic platform, developed for the exploration and mapping of flooded mines. Through live demonstrations, they gained insight into the practical applications of robotics in geoscience and learned about the challenges of underwater exploration.
The event provided an excellent opportunity to inspire young people to pursue STEM subjects and experience firsthand how modern technologies support scientific research and environmental exploration.
